Can I also claim for losses other than injuries?

Your personal injury compensation claim may also include loss of earnings because you were unable to work due to your accident, or you had to consider part-time work. You are also able to claim travelling expenses you have had to pay to go to the hospital or visit the doctor.
Any prescription charges which may arise also form part of your claim, as do private medical fees or any special mobility equipment you need as a result of your accident. You may also able to claim compensation for the loss of ability to take part in leisure activities.
If your accident resulted in the damage of your property and your were not injured as a result, you are still able to pursue a claim for compensation, known as “Special Damages” you are able to ask your opponent to pay for the cost of the repairs.
